Through a nurturing environment, each child is helped to discover his/her talents and to develop self-confidence to the best of his/her God-given abilities. Respect and love for oneself and for others, as well as a sense of social responsibility are lived and learned in Sacred Heart's faith community. Knowledge of God, of life, and of diverse cultures are offered to prepare students to effectively meet the challenges and opportunities of society.
Our Sacred Heart student body is diverse, spanning a range of ages, abilities, race, creed, and social background. From this diversity, we draw strength and perspective.
Diversity must be tempered with standards and at Sacred Heart we hold our students to high standards. Students are required to wear the school uniform; to be responsible, honorable citizens of our community; and to adhere to high academic standards. Sacred Heart students are children of whom we can all be proud.
When our students leave Sacred Heart, it is important that they continue to thrive. Sacred Heart students go on to attend the best public and private high schools in the area. Wherever their educational journey takes them, Sacred Heart students are recognized leaders and continue to achieve high standards.
Sacred Heart School diversity extends to include children with special learning needs. Our RISEN LRC program includes children with special learning needs within the Catholic school community and in so doing aids both the children and their embracing community.
From our RISEN LRC initiative program, which provides for services to our special-needs children, to our Sunshine before and after-school programs, Sacred Heart creates a nurturing and supportive environment that allows your child to maximize his/her potential.
From our main office to the full-service cafeteria, at Sacred Heart each of us works to teach as Jesus did and to create an environment in which our children can flourish.
If the quality, caring, and standards of Sacred Heart appeal to you, please contact us so that we can tell you more.
