Subject: UNEXPECTED STAFF CHANGES AT SACRED HEART SCHOOL
It is with a heart full of prayer that I announce the request made by
Mrs. Linda Schneider to leave her position as our fourth (4th) grade
teacher here at Sacred Heart School, due to health issues that have
developed. Her leave is effective January 2, 2008.
Linda requested that this information remain confidential until after
the holidays. This letter is being provided to you to honor her request.
She has sent a note to the parents of her students, providing this information.
Additionally, at her request, she will be included on our substitute-teaching
roster and considered for any future positions at Sacred Heart School.
Linda has also agreed to visit us during lunch periods as her schedule
allows.
Effective January 2, 2008, Mrs. Maureen Kamercia has accepted the position
of fourth (4th) grade teacher for Sacred Heart School. Maureen brings
many years of teaching experience to our school, having graduated from
CCSU and holding a Masters in Elementary Education. She has been certified
and taught in the states of CT, RI, and FL.
This transition will be easier since Maureen has substituted here at
school, and was the teacher at the end of last year in the 4th grade,
while Linda was the acting Principal. Linda and Maureen have been collaborating
to make this a smooth process for our students. We will all be available
for students and parents during this period.
If you have any questions, please email or call me. Please join me in
keeping Linda in our prayers.
